Research areas

Judy's main research interests are in the design and development of materials for renewable energy technologies, particularly semiconductors for photoelectrochemical generation of clean fuels, as well as materials for solar cells, batteries and catalysis. Her work focuses on the application of density functional theory methods in collaboration with experimental research, with an emphasis on progressing the effective combined use of computational and experimental methods.
