Appeals

Authors may appeal directly to the editor who handled their manuscript and/or to the managing editor (managing-editor-bjnano@beilstein-institut.de) if they regard a decision to reject the manuscript as unfair or unjust.

Reporting errors in published manuscripts and concerns

Anyone may notify the managing editor (managing-editor-bjnano@beilstein-institut.de) about suspected errors in published articles or allegations of scientific misconduct, conflicts regarding authorship, occurrence of peer-review manipulation, undisclosed conflicts of interest, and legal issues.
