Research areas
The work of Prof. Leiderer focuses on the experimental surfaces and low temperature physics with the current focus on surface structure and dynamics of thin films, nano structures, interfaces of condensed quantum matter, and colloidal systems.
Thematic Series
Prof. Leiderer edited the Thematic Series in the Beilstein Journal of Nanotechnology:
Functional nanostructures (together with Dr. Fabian Pauly, Prof. R. Jürgen Behm, Prof. Stephan Nussberger and Prof. Christina Wege)
Optical near-fields & nearfield optics (together with Prof. Alfred J. Meixner)
