Meet our Managing Editor Dr. Barbara Hissa at EUREKA! 2026 in Würzburg

Our Managing Editor Dr. Barbara Hissa will attend EUREKA! 2026, the 21st International Symposium of the Graduate School of Life Sciences (GSLS) at the University of Würzburg, Germany, on October 7 and 8, 2026. The symposium is organized entirely by GSLS doctoral students and held at the Rudolf Virchow Center. It brings together early-career life scientists for talks, poster sessions, a career session, and image and writing contests.

On October 8, at 10:45 am, Barbara will take part in the career session, where guests from different career paths share their experiences and advice with current PhD students. Contact Barbara informally via 📧 email, Bluesky, or LinkedIn to arrange an in-person meeting in Würtzburg. She looks forward to sharing ideas, exchanging information, and discussing topics related to nanotechnology, scientific publishing, and open access.
